Alternative Source of Power

Power is a form of constraint on human action. It also makes many actions easy as well as possible. Electricity is a general term for a variety of development that is produced from the presence and flow of charge. Production of electricity includes different physical developments including lightning, electromagnetic fields and electric currents. These are taken into use in different industrial applications like electronics and electric power. Most of our daily communication is based on electricity. Many machines are powered by electric powers. . Most commonly used electric processes include the myriad industrial processes that use electricity.
Power is generated by various sources the most common of these sources include the following;

Coal Energy: Coal when burns release energy. Coal consists of greater percentage of carbon. Coal is also one type of fossil fuel like oil and natural gas. Since all fossil fuels are considered as non renewable energy resource, coal is also a non renewable energy resource.

Wind: wind is harnessed for making mechanical power or electricity. Wind produces kinetic energy this energy from the wind is converted through many different patterns and mechanical energy is created which is used in making fossil fuels. The turbines are used for generating power from wind. The movement of the turbines gives power to an electric generator. Power created by wind is very advantageous in different aspects including practical, environmental as well as economic.

Solar: Another alternative resource of power is sun. Sun is a renewable energy resource. The solar radiation which reaches on earth in extensive amount is used as sources of power and for generating power. Passive and active solar power is used for producing power.

Nuclear: Nuclear power plants are also used for generating power. The nuclear power plants use reactors made from uranium, plutonium and certain other elements. The electricity generated from nuclear power plants is cheap in comparison to oil and gas. it is a large scale source of electricity which neither creates air pollution nor emit greenhouse gases.

Some other sources include biomass, hydropower, and some others. For further detailed information on power and its alternative sources browse our website Economyofpakistan.com.
